About the Role We're looking for a Motion Designer or Illustrator Intern to join our Design Org's Expression Team this summer in San Francisco. This role sits within product design , not marketing or brand team. You'll help shape how our product feels through motion, illustration, and expressive details that bring interfaces to life. What You'll Do - Create motion and/or illustrative assets for product experiences - Explore interaction, micro-motion, transitions, and expressive visuals in UI - Collaborate closely with product designers and design systems partners - Translate concepts into clear, engaging visual stories inside the product Who You Are - Currently studying Motion Design, Illustration, or a related design field - Strong foundation in motion, illustration, or both (product interest required) - Curious about product design and digital experiences - Comfortable iterating, taking feedback, and exploring ideas quickly Nice to Have - Experience with tools like Figma and AI tools. - Portfolio in interaction design, UI motion, product design or design systems About the Team This is a hands-on product role for students who want to apply motion and illustration to real product problems, alongside a tight, collaborative design team. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$49.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
