This role offers hands‑on exposure to advisor recruiting, relationship development, and professional services business growth.You will work closely with Business Development Directors (BDD) and firm team members, participating in prospecting activities and business development initiatives, while building a strong foundation in financial services. This role is ideal for candidates motivated by networking, mentorship, and long‑term career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with advisor prospecting and list building using approved databases and LinkedInSupport outreach preparation, including tracking responses and maintaining prospect notesSchedule and confirm appointments for introductory advisor conversationsMaintain accurate records of activity in tracking tools and spreadsheetsConduct basic advisor research (firm affiliation, location, years in practice)Help organize follow‑up workflows and ensure timely handoffs to the BDDSupport special projects related to recruiting campaigns or events as neededQualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; Junior or Senior standing preferred (or recent graduate).Strong interest in a career in wealth management or financial advisingStrong organizational and communication skillsConfident making outbound calls with working knowledge of LinkedIn, spreadsheets, and basic CRM or tracking systemsDetail‑oriented and reliable with follow‑throughInterest in business development, sales, finance, marketing, or professional servicesAbility to communicate professionally with advisors and internal stakeholdersSalary Range: $20 -$25 per hourFor over 175 years, Penn Mutual has empowered individuals, families and businesses on the journey to achieve their financial goals.
