Job Description

Membership benefits support :Perfectly understand each member needs and expectations from Relais & ChâteauxOptimize member use of all services to enhance their return on investmentRegularly share the needs of the delegation with HQ to ensure all services are relevant and attuned for each regionPropose and implement an annual action plan and budget for the delegation, subject to coordination with the International Director of Member Services and the DelegateOrganize all regional meetings such as Delegation meetings, Chefs meetings, Steering Committee (where relevant)Supervise the training activities: R&C Induction, technical training (Synxis, …)Work closely with the network team on prospection, in line with the defined international development plan and the integration of new membersEnsure HR services: recruitment support depending on the needs of the members; partnerships with key hospitality Universities and schools to present the brandWork closely with the partnerships team to enhance existing global relationships and leverage them for the region and prospect new partners suitable for the brand/ delegationProduce editorial content concerning the members of the delegation and cooperation with the Publications Department at the Head Office in view of the different publications (i.e. Print, photo library, …)Support the implementation of local promotional events included in the annual action planSupport the press and social media office to increase brand awareness with the Director of the Communication department and International Director of Member ServicesProof read regional language communications and marketing material when neededOrganize showcases or brand events when relevantRepresent Relais & Châteaux at various events to increase brand awarenessPrepare and send monthly e-newsletter to the delegationSubmit bi-weekly updates to the International Director of Member Services and the DelegateMinimum 8 years of hospitality/ turism experience - Luxury Hospitality industry preferredExcellent interpersonal, communications, business and service skills; the ability to build proficient relationships with clientsLeadership, excellent presentation skillsConfident individual who is able to see multiple perspectivesVery organized person with excellent time management and project management skills; the ability to multi taskAutonomous work who is a self-motivator with the ability to work independently and as a team playerProblem-solving aptitudeSpanish and perfect EnglishHome office based position; driving licence requiredMust be willing to travel at least 30 % of the time (50% first year).Why Join Us?Own and lead an entire region with true decision‑making authority and autonomy. The key objective of this role is to ensure that every member of the delegation (region) is maximizing membership benefits. The Delegation Director is the main point of contact for members in the delegation, a key source of information and in charge of ensuring members are aware of and using all tools and services available to them. The Delegation Director must ensure the implementation of global initiatives with an understanding of regional needs. Working hand in hand with all the departments, the Delegation Director facilitates the delivery of projects from Global teams such as sales, marketing and communication. At a local level, The Delegation Director must work closely with the Delegate in the region to champion local needs. Understanding regional and global objectives is key to create a united delegation together with federating members, organising events/ meetings and work closely with the press office in your region. Each year, the person must propose and implement the delegation action plan based on an annual budget dedicated to initiatives for domestic and delegation needs.The Delegation Director works remotely, travels and must hold a driving licence.Originally posted on Himalayas
