As Director, People Operations, Data & Technology, you will be the architect of our people operating system: the calendar, cadences, data infrastructure, and process backbone that allow the People function — and the broader organization — to scale with clarity and intention.This role sits at the intersection of operational rigor, strategic thinking, and forward-looking org design. You will work across the People team to ensure we are running a high-functioning function and building Midi's capacity to understand, plan, and evolve its workforce over time. You will also lead Midi's AI-native people agenda — modeling what it looks like to work smarter, not just harder, for the rest of the company.Key Responsibilities:People Operating SystemDesign and run the operating system of the Midi Health People team: the people calendar, process documentation, and cadences that allow the function to scaleBuild and maintain the infrastructure that creates accountability across the People team — ensuring priorities are clear, progress is tracked, and the team delivers consistentlyOwn people policies, handbooks, and operational documentation, keeping them current and accessibleWorkforce Planning & People AnalyticsOwn Midi's workforce planning process: building the data infrastructure and forward-looking org design capability that allows the company to stay ahead of its growth rather than react to itBuild and maintain people analytics capabilities — ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and strong governance across people systems and the full employee lifecyclePartner with Finance on headcount planning, budgeting, and forecastingTranslate people data into actionable insights for the VP, People and senior leadershipHR Technology & SystemsOwn HR systems and tools, including HRIS, benefits administration, and the broader HR tech stack, in partnership with Corporate IT and ProductDrive process optimization across the employee lifecycle — including onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding — via improved workflows and technologyEnsure data integrity and governance across all people systems and processesAI-Native People AgendaLead Midi's AI-forward people strategy: identifying, prioritizing, and implementing automation and AI across people workflowsModel what an AI-native people function looks like — and serve as a thought partner to the broader organization as it builds this capabilityContinuously evaluate and introduce tools and approaches that allow the People team to operate with greater speed, quality, and insightCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with multi-state employment laws, audits, and reporting requirements in partnership with Finance, Legal, and other departmentsOwn people risk management processes, ensuring the organization is operating within legal and ethical boundaries across all marketsCross-Functional PartnershipWork closely across the People team — with People Partners, Total Rewards, and Talent — to ensure shared processes are well-designed, documented, and consistently executedAct as a connector across functions, building alignment between the People team's operating rhythm and the broader company planning cyclesQualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in Business Operations, People Operations or a related function, with a demonstrated track record of building and scaling operational infrastructure in high-growth environmentsStrong analytical skills and demonstrated ability in using data to develop insights and foresights Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes and systems that scale — not just fix what's broken todayGenuine enthusiasm for and experience with AI and automation applied to HR or operational workflowsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ballStrong communicator and collaborator; able to build trust and alignment across functions and levelsExperience working in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where ambiguity is the norm and structure must be built, not inheritedThe interview process will include: 📚 Meet with our Talent Partner (30- 45 min) Meet with VP People (45-1 hrmins)Final Team Interviews (3-4 hours)Final Working Session Interview(1 hr)At this time, Midi is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
