JOIN US WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an Editorial Storytelling Lead to head up the development and production of high-quality brand narratives for a global automotive client in Munich. This role sits at the intersection of journalism, documentary storytelling and brand communications. You will lead a small team of 2-3 people, responsible for creating compelling stories across all platforms – including long-form formats such as YouTube series, Podcasts, website and LinkedIn articles as well as short-form snackable content on social channels. We are looking for someone who thinks like an editor or documentary filmmaker - someone who knows how to find the story, shape the narrative and build meaningful content that audiences genuinely want to watch, read or listen to. WHAT YOU DO You will lead the agency’s editorial storytelling function developing narrative ideas and overseeing the creation of content across multiple channels and formats. Working closely with strategists, creatives and production teams, you will ensure the work balances strong editorial integrity with clear brand communication. Key Responsabilities Editorial Leadership Lead the agency’s editorial storytelling team Set the narrative direction and editorial tone across content output Develop story ideas, series formats and narrative concepts Ensure all content meets a high standard of story craft and journalistic credibility Oversee storytelling across formats including: Long-form YouTube series Short-form social video Podcast series Editorial articles and long-read features Photography and stills shoots Multi-platform storytelling campaigns Story Development Identify compelling human, cultural and technological stories within the automotive space Develop story arcs, narrative structures and series formats Work with creative conceptors, writers, filmmakers, photographers and producers to shape stories from concept to delivery Creative & Production Collaboration Partner with creative directors, strategists and production teams Guide scripting, treatments and editorial frameworks Provide creative direction during development and production Maintain quality and narrative consistency across channels Collaborate with Social Creatives to bring stories to life on social platforms Brand & Audience Alignment Balance editorial integrity with brand communication Ensure stories resonate with audiences while supporting brand objectives Help define the client’s voice and storytelling identity WHO YOU ARE We are open to candidates from a variety of storytelling disciplines, including: Documentary film or television Editorial publishing / magazines Digital media or long-form journalism Entertainment development Branded content studios Experience Experience developing long-form storytelling or documentary content Strong editorial instincts and story development skills Experience overseeing multi-platform content Ability to work across video, audio, written and visual storytelling Comfortable shaping narratives that balance editorial authenticity with brand messaging Personal Qualities A natural storyteller Curious and culturally aware Strong editorial judgement Collaborative and comfortable leading creative teams Passion for storytelling in emerging media formats Bi-lingual – German and English required Bonus Interest in automotive culture, innovation or mobility Experience with YouTube formats or documentary series Experience working with brands or branded content WHAT TO EXPECT Exposure to senior global clients.
