Initially, you’ll be deeply hands-on—owning technical discovery, integration design, and launch execution. Over time, you’ll evolve the operating model, playbooks, and team structure needed to build a best-in-class SE organization from scratch.You’ll work at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, Engineering, and early Support, ensuring our APIs and integrations deliver real-world value for partners and customers—and that technical execution scales with Engine’s growth.What You’ll DoPartner & Customer Launch OwnershipAct as the primary technical point of contact for partners and customers during integration, launch, and go-liveLead technical discovery, solution design, and implementation supportGuide partners through API usage, authentication, data models, and integration patternsOwn technical launch readiness and sign-off, ensuring performance, security, and scalability standards are metPost Go-Live Technical Support Provide post-launch technical support for partner and customer accounts until a dedicated support team is establishedTriage, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in collaboration with Product and EngineeringIdentify recurring issues and translate them into product, platform, or documentation improvementsProduct & Platform Feedback LoopServe as the technical translator between partners and internal teamsDeliver structured, actionable feedback to inform API roadmap, platform strategy, and developer experiencePartner closely with Product Partnerships and Product leadership on technical directionEnablement & PlaybooksBuild and maintain technical launch playbooks, reference architectures, and integration patternsCreate and iterate on partner-facing technical documentation and enablement materialsEnable internal stakeholders with clear technical context and guidanceSE Org Design & ScaleDesign the Solutions Engineering function for Product PartnershipsDefine role scope, engagement models, success metrics, and toolingEstablish best practices for a repeatable, scalable launch and integration motionHire, onboard, and mentor future Solutions Engineers as volume scalesWhat You’ll Bring to Engine8–12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Partnerships, or a similar customer-facing technical roleHands-on experience supporting API-first or platform productsStrong understanding of REST APIs, authentication and authorization, webhooks, data models, and system integrationsProven experience owning technical launches and integrations end-to-endPrior experience being the first SE or helping build an SE function is a strong plusAbility to operate comfortably in ambiguity and define structure where none existsExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong judgment, ownership mindset, and customer empathyTravel industry experience valued but not required#LI-MH1Applications for this role will be accepted through May 15th, 2026 or until the role is filled. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
