acemate is building an AI learning & teaching platform for higher and further education institutions. We have strong traction, secured funding and are entering an exciting growth phase. We're looking for a passionate Full-Stack Developer (Working Student) to drive our product forward and help us scale. About acemate Founded in 2024, acemate has quickly become the leading AI learning platform for higher and further education, trusted by top-tier institutions across four countries, including University of Cologne, WHU and the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHKs). As a core, early team member, you will exercise significant influence over our product's trajectory, technical architecture, and overall strategic roadmap. Product Development: Build entirely new capabilities and enhance existing features by working closely alongside Paul and Emile Collect valuable insights from our users to translate their feedback into practical product improvements Technical Leadership: Ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems as the company continues to expand Continuously refine our AI toolchains to leverage the newest advancements in artificial intelligence Work with a cutting-edge technological foundation built fundamentally on Google Cloud and Cloudflare Past examples of projects you might tackle: Duolingo-inspired daily quiz system crafted to maintain high student engagement with their university coursework Complex AI pipelines that extract textual and visual information from diverse documents, mapping these topics directly into knowledge graphs Custom authorization engine built to handle the growing access-control complexities across multiple institutional setups Tech Stack: Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) Infrastructure: Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, Workflows, R2, KV), Google Cloud (Gemini, Cloud Run) Tools: Sentry, Langfuse, PostHog, Stripe Do not worry if you aren't perfectly versed in every technology listed from the very beginning. We strongly believe in your ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new frameworks and tools as we move forward.
