This role will own the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our global equity programs as we transition from a legacy equity platform to a public-company-ready solution. We’re investing in building best-in-class equity infrastructure that supports our employees, leadership team, and potential future public shareholders.This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex transitions, values precision, and brings a modern mindset — including thoughtful use of AI — to scale equity operations efficiently and accurately.What You’ll Be Doing:Establish and lead the stock administration function, including policies, processes, controls, and systemsLead the transition from an existing legacy equity platform to a scalable, public-company-ready equity administration system, including vendor selection, data migration, testing, and go-liveOwn cap table integrity and equity data accuracy throughout the platform transition and beyondDesign, implement, and manage global equity compensation programs (e.g., stock options, RSUs, public-company, ESPP readiness)Oversee the full equity lifecycle: grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, terminations, modifications, and settlementsPartner with Finance and Legal to support public-company readiness, including disclosures, governance, internal controls, and audit requirementsEnsure accurate and timely equity accounting in accordance with ASC 718 and public-company standardsOversee 409A valuation processes and ensure ongoing complianceManage relationships with external vendors, including equity platforms, valuation firms, tax advisors, and external auditorsPartner closely with People, Benefits & Compensation, and Recruiting to ensure equity programs are clearly communicated and well understoodPrepare equity processes and systems to be SOX-ready and scalable for a public-company environmentLeverage automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and operational efficiencyApply sound judgment around the use of AI in equity administration, with a focus on data integrity, security, explainability, and appropriate controlsWhat Makes You a Great Fit:10+ years of experience in stock administration, equity compensation, or related rolesProven experience building and scaling an equity administration function in a high-growth companyHands-on experience leading a transition from a legacy equity platform to a modern, public-company-ready equity systemDirect experience supporting IPO readiness and/or operating as a public companyDeep knowledge of equity compensation plans, cap table management, and related tax and regulatory requirementsStrong understanding of equity accounting (ASC 718) and internal control frameworksExperience administering equity programs across multiple countries and jurisdictionsDemonstrated ability or strong mindset toward using AI, automation, and advanced tooling to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight in equity operationsHigh attention to detail combined with the ability to manage complex projects and timelinesClear, confident communicator who can explain equity concepts to employees, executives, and the BoardAbility to operate independently in a fast-moving, less-structured environmentBonus Points For:Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designationExperience implementing ESPPs or public company equity programsFamiliarity with SOX compliance and public-company reportingExperience partnering with engineering or data teams on systems integrations or automationExperience working in a globally distributed, remote-first organizationCompensation & Rewards:In the United States, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $218,000 - $262,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
