About the Role The Program Lead for UKI Compliance Ops is a strategic and operationally critical leadership role, tasked with delivering outstanding regulatory outcomes across the UKI. Reporting to the Director, Actioning & Compliance Support, and managing the UKI arm of this team, this individual owns and evolves the control systems that safeguard driver document and safety compliance at scale. You will be responsible for setting a clear vision for regulatory excellence, championing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. The role combines high-level programmatic thought leadership with hands-on execution. You will design scalable, automation-enabled workflows that balance regulatory integrity, operational efficiency, and driver experience in a high-volume, high-stakes market. What you'll do Strategic Leadership & Program Ownership 1. Vision & Strategy: Oversee the UKI Compliance Operations teams, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and maintaining 100% adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., TfL), both for Docs and Safety compliance 2. Operational Excellence: Define success metrics for delivery partners (COEs and BPOs), driving process standardization and streamlining workflows to increase efficiency and compliance performance. 3. Continuous Improvement: Analyse feedback and identify gaps to deliver actionable recommendations that improve both the driver experience and regulatory compliance. aRegulatory Design & Control 1. Workflow Architecture: Architect and evolve risk-based document approval workflows and safety incident triaging, determining the optimal balance between automation and human review. 2. Automation Integration: Roll out and optimize tech solutions such as auto-transcription, auto-fetch, and auto-adjudication to protect against material compliance exposure. 3. Audit Readiness: Embed audit-ready, defensible controls into all safety and document processes and take ownership of remediation tracking. Stakeholder Collaboration & Management 1. Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with UKI Safety and Regulatory Operations, Business Operations, Legal, and Global Platform Integrity counterparts to drive alignment on product rollouts and safety initiatives. 2. BPO Management: Maintain control frameworks across BPO partners, including performance levers and escalation pathways aligned to regulatory severity. 3. Communication: Coordinate with cross-functional partners to track key metrics, identify blockers, and communicate program milestones and deliverables. Basic Qualifications 1. Background: 8-10 years in technology, consulting, operations, or agile project-based environments with a proven track record in program management. 2. Compliance Expertise: Experience designing or operating compliance control environments in regulated industries 3. Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical capability with comfort in data-driven decision-making. 4. Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable operational workflows and automation guardrails. 5. Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and leading initiatives in a complex stakeholder environment. 6. Leadership: Demonstrates leadership through vision, excellence, and the ability to inspire trust and collaboration. 7. Drive: Committed to quality, customer-first thinking, and continuous personal and professional development. Preferred Qualifications 1.
