This role will be involved in the planning, monitoring, testing, evaluation, and execution of Heart & Stroke’s five innovative resuscitation programs and product lines, all designed to align with the resuscitation guidelines. These coordinated efforts will enable H&S to continue to successfully distribute updated resuscitation programs throughout Canada.To support the coordinated efforts of resuscitation’s product development and execution, this role requires a comprehensive understanding of project management's best practices, methodologies, and processes. This role requires someone who is articulate and motivated, who can identify vulnerabilities and obstacles and suggest creative innovative solutions to these challenges.How you will make an impact every dayCoordinate project deliverables and task managementResponsible for the overall coordination of resus products and e-learning project deliverables and manage the project through to execution Ensure project deliverables conform to best practices Assign, identify, manage and track key milestones, tasks and deliverables for the product development and e-learning teams to support achievement of launch targetsIdentify to Sr. Manager risks for product development timelines and suggest ways to mitigateEngages with product and e-learning teams to facilitate development and execution of plansPromotes and maintains cooperative working relationships across the organization and within the teamProject planning and executionDevelop and monitor a project plan and schedule including interdependencies Perform requirements gathering with stakeholders when necessary Assist in implementing project activities as needed by the product and operations teams and recommend process improvements to the product development processManage all phases of the project lifecycle including translation activities in partnership with the French Language Product Specialist Report on product development progress via Wrike project management softwareCoordinate activities required to bring resuscitation products to market Maintain product pipeline and management tools ensuring all required information is entered and updated; follow up on items not completed by team membersSchedule meetings and keep track of project deliverables and workflow for the resus project teamEffective internal and external CommunicationManage and monitor stakeholder expectations to ensure open and consistent communication channels, and timely completion of deliverablesClearly communicate project deadlines and monitor core project team’s progress through deliverables and milestonesCommunicate regularly with stakeholders and leadership, identifying upcoming issues, concerns, changes and resources requirementsEnsure all lessons learned and documentation are clearly captured, documented and accessible in SharePointWho we needExperienceMinimum 2-4 years of project coordination experience on medium scale projectsExperience working on interdisciplinary project teamsKnowledge/experience in the resuscitation field would be an assetExperience with product development cycles would be an assetEducationPost secondary diploma/degree or certification plus related experience PMP Certification considered an asset (preference will be given to those with certification)SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent to communicate clearly, simply, and concisely in a professional manner with stakeholders across the organization Knowledge/experience in the development and delivery of adult education & learning programs is an assetExcellent understanding of project planning and experience in the development of enabling initiatives, including implementation tracking, stakeholder management and engagement, communication and execution Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and nurture effective relationships with subject matter expert volunteersStrong listening skills and ability to translate knowledge into opportunityExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to identify key priorities Good skills in stakeholder engagement and consultation, particularly to influence and contribute to project planning initiatives Be agile to support achievement of product delivery deadlinesExcellent attention to detailReadiness to learn and develop professionally and experiment with new ideasDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; strong computer skills and ability to learn new software easilyFamiliarity with project management software Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an assetWhat we offerThis role offers a hiring range of $65,000 to $75,000, aligned with our compensation framework and your professional background.
