The position is responsible for achieving sales objectives of pumps and metering products in target markets and industries, as well as developing, growing, and maintaining relationships with channel partners. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to manage the assigned customer base, develop and manage critical downstream accounts to develop new business and increase sales, and provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers with either existing product, solutions, or in partnership with engineering on new product solutions.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Meets or exceeds territory sales revenue forecast as established by the RSM and Business Unit management.Make sales calls with/without distributor sales and builds relationships with key customers and end users in the territory. Communicate call results to distributors with action items if applicable.Manage "project" activity in the assigned territory, including product offering, recommend pricing levels based on value selling concepts, and establish sales strategy while following company policies and objectives.Sales call and Lead management to be processed as per company program i.e. CRM. (MS Dynamics)Make recommendations for new OEMs and distributors (primary or niche) for territory.Working closely with distributor management to appraise distributor performance and develop key account plans.Develop and maintain OEM and end-user partnerships across key regional accounts. Develop and implement strategies for displacement of competition at new and existing targeted accounts with the goal of increased market share and penetration.Facilitate required training to distributor personnel on commercial issues.Manage the distributor agreement and company sales policies.Build relationships with personnel across customer and distributor organizations as well as with key industry influencers.Ensures that Corken-Liquid Controls gets adequate share of distributor’s time and resources to sell and promote our products and services.Provide the company with new product ideas, market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence. Participate on New Product Development, marketing, and sales teams as required.Implementation of e-business initiatives with designated channel partners.Other duties as assigned by managementContinually develop personal sales skills via self-development.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a minimum of five years’ experience in industrial equipment (such as flow control, pumps, compressors, etc.).Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and all levels of corporate and company personnel.Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictionsAbility to travel up to 70% in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated new business development success in new/adjacent industrial flow-control marketsBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited universityMaster’s or MBA degree from an accredited university7+ years of sales and/or marketing experiencePosition Success Criteria:Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation aptitude and public speaking experienceStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mindsetAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentAbility to learn market influencesAbility to identify and tenaciously pursue growth opportunitiesStrategic planning ability and strong organizational skillsDistribution managementAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $112,700.00 - $169,100.00, depending on experience.
