Tools/TechSAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate, Integration & Data Migration tools, Testing & Training frameworks, PM/RAID tooling (e.g., RAID logs, status dashboards)About the Team & ImpactJoin a SAP delivery team to lead a complex, multi‑site S/4HANA transformation for a public sector organization. You will drive the end‑to‑end program, from initiation through deployment and stabilization, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality while enabling adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.ResponsibilitiesLead full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation from planning to go‑live/stabilization to meet contractual commitments and business outcomes.Define and control scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resources; maintain the integrated master plan and critical path.Coordinate cross‑functional teams across time zones (client, IBM, vendors) to remove blockers and align on outcomes.Apply SAP Activate and best practices; run phase gates and quality checks to ensure traceability and readiness.Oversee integration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover; validate entry/exit criteria and success metrics.Drive organizational change management to accelerate user adoption and business readiness.Monitor and control risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID); maintain transparent reporting to executives.Manage budget, forecasts, and vendor statements of work; ensure change control compliance.Ensure security, compliance, and public‑sector standards are reflected in design and deployment.Deliver clear, concise communications (steerco decks, status reports, readouts) for technical and non‑technical audiences.SkillYears of ExperienceLevel of ExperienceDetails / Examples (please explain your proficiency, provide technical details and/or examples)Must‑Have QualificationsProven leadership of at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation in a complex, multi‑vendor environment.Demonstrated use of SAP Activate across Explore → Realize → Deploy, including quality gates and readiness criteria.Strong governance of scope, schedule, budget, and benefits; expert in RAID management and change control.Experience overseeing integration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover at program level.Excellent stakeholder management across public sector/business/IT; crisp executive communications.Nice‑to‑HaveOCM leadership and end‑user enablement at enterprise scale.Familiarity with PM tooling (e.g., MS Project, Jira/Confluence, SAP Solution Manager/Cloud ALM).Originally posted on Himalayas
