Security Architect (Cleared - Future Opportunity)Location: RemoteClearance: Active TS Required (Q Clearance Preferred)Compensation: Anticipated range $95k - $160k (based on experience)Security ArchitectAugust Schell is seeking cleared Security Architects to support anticipated federal cybersecurity initiatives. Qualified candidates will be considered for future opportunities aligned with enterprise security architecture, compliance, and secure system implementatino efforts.Candidates may be considered at all levels based on experience, technical depth, and leadership capabilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and guide implementation of enterprise and system-level security architecture throughout the development lifecycleTranslate federal security requirements, laws, and regulations into technical design controls and processesDevelop secure system architectures aligned with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, and related federal standardsIntegrate security controls across enterprise platforms and cloud/on-prem environmentsProvide technical leadership on architecture decisions, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance alignmentContribute to or lead technical deliverables and performance objectives as assignedEvaluate existing system security posture and recommend improvements Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program stakeholders Basic QualificationsActive Top Secret clearnce requiredAbility to obtain Q ClearanceU.S. Citizenship required5+ years of relevant cybersecurity or security architecture experience (level dependent)Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited universityPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal programs or regulated enviornmentsExperience with NIST RMF, FISMA, Zero Trust architectures, or federal cloud security standardsActive TS/SCI clearanceExisiting Q ClearanceWho we are...
