CampfireFM is a new home for podcasts and podcasters. We bring together distribution, community, and monetisation – creating a space where podcasts aren't just listened to, but discovered, discussed, and experienced interactively. Listeners can follow their favourite shows, become part of their communities, and directly support the creators they love. We’re currently looking for a Senior Android Engineer from or close to Berlin with deep native Android experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and excitement about modern AI-assisted development workflows. Tasks Build and maintain our native Android application with us Work on media-heavy and real-time social mobile experiences Contribute to a fast-moving, highly iterative engineering culture with weekly releases Use modern AI tooling and agent-based coding workflows in day-to-day development Requirements 5+ years of native Android development experience with Kotlin (especially concurrency and architecture) Experience in deployment tooling (Play Store, GitHub Actions) is a plus Strong experience in modern AI-assisted development workflows (agentic coding) Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Fluency in English (required), German is a very big plus We value deep technical discussion when it meaningfully improves outcomes — but you should also know when to optimize for execution, speed, and product progress instead. We’re especially interested in people who actively build outside of work.
