Job Description

Your mission To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Post Production Manager (360° VR, International) who builds, optimizes, and leads a high-performance 360° VR post-production pipeline for picture and 3D audio – and turns complex productions into reliably excellent deliveries for our partners. Your Role As a Senior Post Production Manager, you are the operational and structural backbone of 360° VR post-production at L1VE. You design, document, and manage a scalable pipeline for picture and spatial audio – internally and with external partners. Your focus is to develop and implement attractive, tailor-made post-production concepts for both existing and future partners. You combine technical understanding, process thinking, and leadership strength. You know what excellent 360° VR post-production means – in image and spatial audio – and turn that into scalable, repeatable workflows that make post-production run like a well-oiled machine. Key Responsibilities Build, document, and continuously optimize the entire 360° VR post-production pipeline at L1VE – from stitching and color grading to 3D audio and final delivery across all relevant formats. Coordinate and lead internal post-production teams as well as external studios, freelancers, and technology partners – with clear briefings, quality standards, and timelines. Own quality assurance for picture and spatial audio (Ambisonics) – ensuring every production meets or exceeds L1VE’s excellence standards. Drive technological advancement in immersive media production: evaluate, test, and – where valuable – implement new tools, workflows, and innovations. Work closely with Content & Creation, Tech, and Platform teams to ensure post-production is seamlessly integrated into the overall production process. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the post-production pipeline early and develop proactive countermeasures – before they become issues. Whether live sports productions, music events, or brand partnerships: you deliver. Always. On time. At an excellent standard. Your profile Experience, Knowledge & Skills Professional experience in post-production, project management, or production management – ideally in VR/360° or immersive media, but this is not a strict requirement: structure, network, and leadership strength matter more. Proven ability to build, lead, and optimize post-production pipelines – both with internal teams and with external studios and freelancers. Solid technical understanding of 360° picture workflows (stitching, color, delivery) and 3D audio (Ambisonics, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos) – you know what to expect and demand from your teams. Personal Competencies & Mindset Process-driven with strong execution – you don’t create concepts that disappear into a drawer; you implement them. Innovation-driven and curious – you don’t want to merely manage the status quo; you want to shape, improve, and push it forward. A principled networker – you bring an existing network in studios, freelance production, or technology, or you are able to build one in a focused, strategic way. Genuine enthusiasm for immersive media, sports, music, and what makes 360° VR unique. Calm under pressure and clear in your communication – internally and externally, at eye level with creatives and technicians alike. Education & Qualifications Degree or completed vocational training in media production, film production, audio engineering, media business, or a comparable field – or equivalent practical experience that provides a similar foundation. Tool-agnostic mindset and willingness to actively co-design the L1VE post-production pipeline – from software selection to workflow documentation. Familiarity with common post-production software ecosystems (e.g. DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Mistika VR, Nuendo, Pro Tools or similar) – and a clear sense of which tools are right for which production requirements. Confident working with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, Asana, etc.) – you can map, track, and communicate post-production workflows digitally and transparently. Experience leading production processes in demanding environments – budget responsibility and stakeholder management are not new to you. VR experience is a clear advantage, but not a must. Perfect VR expertise is not mandatory – but the determination to build the best immersive post-production in the world is. If you love processes, are driven by excellence, and inspire teams: this role is for you. Additional Requirements Languages: Fluent in English and German (business level) – you communicate confidently with international studios, technical teams, and brand partners. Additional languages are a plus. Travel: Approx. 25% of working time, nationally and internationally Why us? Shape the future of immersive media: Build one of the leading 360° VR post-production pipelines in the industry – for picture and 3D audio – and set new standards for quality and innovation. Real impact on global productions: Work on high-profile projects in sports, music, and brand partnerships where your structures and decisions directly influence what millions of people experience. Build your own “engine room”: Design processes, select tools, and structure teams so that post-production runs like a high-performance machine – with you in the driver’s seat. Work with a strong, interdisciplinary team: Collaborate closely with creatives, technologists, and strategists who are all pushing the same goal: the best immersive experiences on the market. Flexible work environment: Hybrid work model, modern tools, and a setup that allows you to combine deep-focus work with on-site production moments. Culture of responsibility and excellence: Join a team that values ownership, clear communication, and the ambition to consistently deliver at a top level – without losing the joy of experimentation and bold ideas.
