Tasks Your Responsibilities: Own and evolve the end-to-end test strategy across mobile (iOS & Android), Web and API layers. Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks in Python and TypeScript using tools like Appium, Playwright, and Maestro. Define and track quality metrics (coverage, flakiness, escape defects) Design scalable CI/CD quality gates and optimize feedback loops Establish strategies for performance, reliability, and resilience testing Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to shift testing left, embedding quality from design through delivery. Introduce advanced testing approaches (e.g., contract testing, mocking, service virtualization). Drive system testability and influence architecture decisions. Proactively identify coverage gaps, flaky tests, and systemic risk areas and fix them. Requirements Your Profile: 5+ years of hands-on QA/test automation experience, including Web and Mobile applications. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case design, and defect management. Demonstrated ownership of QA strategy in complex, distributed systems Deep expertise in test automation architecture and scalable test design Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch) to support test coverage, incident analysis, and root cause investigations Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and working in agile environments. A fast learner who picks up new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly and independently. Strong communicator who can explain a flaky test failure to a developer and a quality risk to a product manager. Experience in influencing engineering and product decisions through quality insights Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
