Provide customer service and overall service of assigned clients in updating key plan data. Responsible for all activities surrounding the procurement, placement, and implementation of defined contribution plans.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDrafts Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plan documents, restatements, and amendments from basic to complex plan designsPrepares and maintains plan documents for new retirement plans, conversions, and restatements from basic to complex plan designsCoordinate with legal counsel and clients to finalize document languageLead and prepare the process of annual notices distributionLead and create processes for legislative and recurring large-scale plan document projects to ensure successful, timely completion; i.e. cycle restatementsEnsure all plan documents meet IRS, ERISA, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal teams on plan design, amendments, and necessary participant communicationsCollaborate with internal teams on EPCRS correction processesPrepares and conducts plan-year-end non-discrimination testing (ADP, ACP, Top-heavy, 410(b), 415, 414(s), etc.Prepares IRS Filings (5500, 5558, 5330, etc.)Works with vendors/recordkeepers to maintain the plan design integrity and day-to-day service issuesMaintains client and due diligence filesReview and update proceduresStay current on industry updates, legislative changes, and internal initiatives as they pertain to and impact recordkeepers, employers, participants, and plan documentsComplies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, requiredLaw School, preferredFive (5) or more years of related work experience, requiredExperience with small to large size client, requiredExperience with Mergers & Acquisitions, requiredProfessional designation issued by ASPPA, NIPA, etc. or progress toward designation, preferredSKILLSStrong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulationsDocument software experiencePositive attitude and a service-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detail and work ethicExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsStrong sense of business ethics and integrityAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
