We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend expertise to strengthen our engineering team at a successful web project from the USA.As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and enhancing the platform within a collaborative engineering team. While the current stack includes Angular and Node.js, the strategic goal is to expand backend capabilities and strengthen collaboration with engineering and ETL teams.Depending on project priorities, you may initially focus on Angular/Node.js features, while gradually contributing more to backend services and integrations, where .NET/C# experience will be valuable. You should be comfortable working across the stack when needed.Our ideal candidate:Is comfortable working across both frontend and backend when neededBrings strong backend engineering experienceCan help increase the technical seniority of the teamIs proactive and capable of contributing to technical direction and system designDemonstrates strong ownership and problem-solving skillsIs collaborative, comfortable working in ambiguous environments, able to mentor others, and raise the overall technical maturity of the teamRequirementsMust have5+ years of professional software development experience.Strong experience in backend development.Hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular.Previous or current experience with .NET / C#.Experience designing and implementing backend services or APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex systems.Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher.Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of technical solutions.Will be a plusExperience with AWS or other cloud platformsExperience working with healthcare systems or regulated environmentsExperience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)Mentorship or technical leadership experienceResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain features using Angular and Node.js (Express).Contribute to backend services and system architecture where applicable.Strengthen the team’s backend expertise and engineering maturity.Collaborate with engineering and ETL teams on integrations and data-related workflows.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.Identify opportunities to improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Share knowledge and support other engineers when needed.About ProjectOur client is a Software company from the USA.ProductThis platform is dedicated to ensuring payment integrity for health payers.
