And we believe great storytelling is what brings that mission to life.We’re growing quickly and investing heavily in video, and we’re looking for a skilled, reliable Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into content that stops the scroll and drives real results.This is a full-time remote contractor role where you’ll partner closely with our Marketing Operations team to produce both short-form and long-form content across platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.We’re looking for editors who understand that great content isn’t just visually polished—it performs. If you naturally think about retention, watch time, pacing, hooks, and audience psychology while editing, you’ll thrive here. CompensationStarting at $1,500/month, with opportunities to grow based on performance, speed, creative impact, and reliability.If you care about pacing, hooks, storytelling, and making content perform, you’ll feel right at home here. What You’ll Be Doing• Editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) designed for engagement and retention• Editing long-form YouTube videos (talking head, tutorials, and story-driven content)• Adding captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and color grading• Working from creative briefs and occasionally helping shape them• Collaborating with our marketing team during US business hours (EST–PST, your choice)• Managing multiple projects with fast turnaround times• Iterating on edits based on feedback and performance data What We’re Looking ForStrong English communication is required.You don’t need to sound native, but you do need to communicate clearly and collaborate confidently with a US-based team daily.• 4+ years of professional video editing experience working with brands, agencies, creators, or performance-focused media teams• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software• A strong portfolio showcasing short-form content optimized for engagement, retention, and conversions• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention curves, and direct-response or eCommerce-style editing• Ability to take ownership of projects, manage deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced remote environment• Reliable internet and a capable editing setup (we’ll ask about your specs during the process) Bonus Points• Experience with AI video tools (SORA, Kling, Runway, etc.)• Graphic design skills (thumbnails, social assets, lower thirds)• Podcast editing experience Our Hiring Process (No Guesswork)We keep things simple and respectful of your time: Apply – Submit your application, portfolio, and a quick intro Portfolio Review – We look for alignment with our content style Intro Call – A short video chat to connect and learn more about you Team Interview – Meet with our Marketing Operations lead Test Project – A brief assignment so we can see your skills in action We move quickly.
