Job Description
At Credibur, we are building the infrastructure layer for European private credit: an operating system for non-bank lending that handles borrowing base calculations, drawdown automation, SPV oversight, covenant monitoring, reporting, and backup servicing. Our clients are originators and institutional capital providers across BNPL, factoring, SME lending, leasing, and auto receivables. If you have spent the last few years inside one lender, one fund, or one asset class, this role offers something different. At Credibur you work across the full spectrum of European structured credit: multiple originators, multiple capital providers, multiple asset classes, simultaneously. Within your first year, you will have touched more deal structures and facility types than most structured finance professionals encounter in five years on a single originator's treasury team. We are looking for a Structured Finance Manager (m/f/d) to own facility operations across our client base and be the primary day-to-day interface between originators and their lenders. You will work directly with the founding team on live deals from day one. Tasks Own borrowing base calculation logic: Translate facility documentation into calculation configurations on the Credibur platform: eligibility criteria, advance rates, concentration limits, exception handling. Once live, the platform executes automatically; your job is to design it correctly upfront and manage it as deals evolve. Design asset tape schemas: Define the data requirements for each new client onboarding: which fields matter for the asset class, how originator data maps to Credibur's platform, and where the gaps are. Once configured, ingestion runs automatically; you own the schema design and its ongoing integrity as deals and data sources evolve. Maintain backup servicing playbooks: Define and document operational runbooks for each backup servicing mandate. No prior backup servicing experience required; we will train. What matters is being structured and thorough enough to document processes clearly. Shape the product: Work closely with our engineering team to translate what you see on deals into platform improvements. You are the closest person to how clients actually use Credibur in practice; your input directly drives what gets built. Manage client operations: Handle day-to-day queries from originator treasury teams and lender portfolio managers. Flag issues early, own resolution where you can, and know when to loop in the right people. Requirements 3 to 4 years of experience in structured finance, warehouse lending, or capital markets operations at a non-bank lender, asset manager, or credit servicer Direct, personal responsibility for producing reports or calculations for an institutional counterparty (not advisory, not purely modeling) Exposure to borrowing base mechanics, eligibility criteria, and asset tape workflows Asset class experience in consumer lending, BNPL, SME loans, factoring, or auto receivables Strong English; able to handle a professional client call independently Nice to have: German language skills (significant plus given our client base); other European languages are a bonus Nice to have: Berlin-based or willing to relocate. Remote candidates from within Europe are possible but Berlin is strongly preferred at this stage. What We Offer Unmatched deal breadth at an early career stage You see how different originators run their facilities, how different lenders and funds approach monitoring and reporting, and how the same mechanics play out differently across asset classes. That breadth is difficult to build anywhere else at this stage. Direct access to live deals and institutional counterparties You are not a junior analyst sitting behind a senior relationship manager. You are the operational contact for Heads of Treasury at originators and Lead Portfolio Managers at credit funds. Founding team proximity Credibur is early. You work directly alongside the founders on deals that are live and consequential. What you build here shapes how the company operates for years. Setup Berlin-based or remote within Europe or UK with travel every few months to our Berlin HQ and/or to clients. No visa sponsorship available. At Credibur, we believe that diverse teams build better products. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or religion. If you're passionate about what we do but don't meet 100% of the criteria, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential and ambition. All hires complete on-site onboarding in Berlin. Background checks are required as part of our standard compliance process. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
