In 2023, we became the lead consultant and in 2025 also the On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis. We believe energy should be reliable, affordable, and future-ready. That’s why we view LNG as a powerful transition fuel on the path to greener energy systems. Aufgaben Supporting the Terminal Manager in the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the LNG terminal Planning and implementing the integrated operation and maintenance plan for the terminal Coordinating daily work processes at the terminal (including permit-to-work, maintenance and external services) Acting as an interface for internal departments and operational partners Ensuring compliance with all safety, emergency and environmental requirements as well as legal regulations Conducting audits, inspections and safety inspections and assisting in the investigation of incidents Representing the Terminal Manager during his/her absence Preparation of reports and technical document management Qualifikation Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or similar At least 3 years of experience in terminal operations or 5 years in the chemical/energy-related process industry In-depth knowledge of process safety – ideally in the field of LNG or natural gas Experience with safety and quality management systems (e.g. ISO, IMO, SIGTTO) Knowledge of project management is an advantage Strong problem-solving and communication skills Confident use of MS Office Very good written and spoken German and English Benefits The opportunity to play an active role in shaping the operation of a pioneering LNG terminal Responsible tasks in a technically demanding environment A dedicated team with open communication and flat hierarchies Competitive compensation and long-term development opportunities We are looking forward to your applycation, even if you might not fulfill all requirements.
