Tasks · Overall responsibility for transportation operations of Hankook business (Magdeburg & Bodenheim) · Act as the primary operational contact for transport-related topics · Manage inbound (port/warehouse) and outbound (customer delivery) transport flows · Ensure compliance with delivery slots, RDD, and customer requirements · Monitor KPIs (OTD, cost, utilization) and drive corrective actions · Manage carrier performance and handle escalations · Optimize transport cost and efficiency (mode selection, consolidation) · Coordinate with internal teams (Warehouse, Finance, IT, HQ) · Lead operational reviews and support data-driven decision making · Drive continuous improvement and standardization initiatives · Ensure smooth daily operation and issue resolutionSupport implementation of process improvements, automation and standardization initiatives · Ensure continue improvement through feedback loops with customers Requirements Experience: 5–10+ years in transport / logistics operations Transport planning (FTL/LTL), KPI management, carrier management, European distribution network Ability to manage operational data and KPIs into actionable insights Customer-specific logistics operations experience Handling complex operational escalations Experience with TMS/WMS systems (Cello preferred) Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
