Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide application development services and technical support within defined project scopesDevelop plans, workflows, and application logic for new or existing software solutionsCode, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications using Java, Git, and SQLAnalyze requirements and support application component testing, maintenance, and integrationEnsure successful implementation of system improvements and software upgradesParticipate in Agile processes to deliver rapid and reliable solutions; collaborate on component, service, and tool developmentBuild internal knowledge of company tools, processes, and client needs; provide guidance to new associates as neededMinimum Qualifications:4+ years of professional experience in Java development, including microservices architecturesProficiency in Java, JSON, JDBC, and debugging methodologiesExperience with Linux and Java Web Containers (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat)Hands-on experience with microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus, or MicroProfileStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to interpret technical requirements and deliver scalable solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with IntelliJExperience with scripting languages including Python and BashExperience with Amazon API Gateway and AWS LambdaBackground with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmExperience supporting federal agencies, including VA or Healthcare IT programs, and writing automated test casesClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active secret security clearance. Physical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
