This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding revenue through outbound and inbound sales efforts. You will play a key role in accelerating market expansion and strengthening EverCommerce’s position within our verticals.As a Business Development Manager — You will own prospecting and lead generation. You’ll collaborate with Sales Executive, cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value.Responsibilities:Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and partnershipsDevelop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clientsConduct product presentations, demos, and negotiations with key decision-makersManage the pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reportingCollaborate with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation strategiesAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform growth strategiesPartner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer successAttend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as neededSkills and Experience needed for success in this role:3–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in SaaS or technology)Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targetsStrong prospecting and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectivelyExperience managing lead generation to demoExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environmentFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levelsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)Where:The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.
