eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and support the reliability, scalability, and operability of the software systems powering our trapped-ion quantum computers.Responsibilities:As a Site Reliability Engineer – Quantum Computing (f/m/d), you will contribute to the reliability, stability, and operability of our software that operates our quantum computers. You will work closely with software engineers, firmware developers, physicists, and hardware engineers in an interdisciplinary environment, gaining deep insight into a cutting-edge technical domain. This is an on-site position in Siegen or Hamburg.
